It took a month the build the new server and tweak it just to our liking. Our continued domination of virtual machines with the power of VM Ware allowed us in April to retire the 9 year old Polaris Vortex server. PV was created as part of our DePaul Master's training and remained in operation despite aging and out of date components. Summer now sees a fresh new server with newer OS, VM Ware and awesome administration.

This year both MySpace and Facebook will mark their 5 year anniversary. Even with an overhaul happening on MySpace this January the move over to Facebook was made. That's the word on the street.
