We all have those day jobs. Mine is protecting data through the use of PKI systems. Never heard of PKI? Don't worry, all you need to know is that it is really cool, advanced technology in data access control. It is the perfect field that combines the coolness of applications that focus on collaboration, distributed systems and cutting edge development. Clients, user interfaces, protocols, and even servers. I'm a jack of all that is distributed systems and I'm taking those skills mainstream.

Enterprise Security Solution Draft

Mike will be one of the co-authors of a feasibility study and requirements document to determine how many enterprise components are in place to do an organization wide roll out. The paper will also focus on where product integration can be enhanced to create a seemless enrollment into a data protection solution using the X.509 PKI standards.

SecretAgent Mobile

Back when Windows CE 4.2 was evolving into Windows Mobile for Smartphones, it sounded like a good idea to port our desktop file security software to the hand held device. Protecting files on a device that is more likely to be lost or stolen seems like a logical product to offer and the code won the company its first Operating System certified logo. While the platform wasn't adopted by the market as hoped, the design considerations creating a plam top app with minimal memory and screen still remain valid as other devices and platforms emerge to meet portable computing demands.
