It took a month the build the new server and tweak it just to our liking. Our continued domination of virtual machines with the power of VM Ware allowed us in April to retire the 9 year old Polaris Vortex server. PV was created as part of our DePaul Master's training and remained in operation despite aging and out of date components. Summer now sees a fresh new server with newer OS, VM Ware and awesome administration.

That's the word on the street.
